James More

James More (born 1988) is an English magician. He is known for making appearances of numerous different television shows around the world and joined The Magic Circle in 2011.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Information, news and events from The Magic Circle )〕 In 2013, he made it to the live semi-finals of ''Britain's Got Talent''.
==Early life and career==
James More has been doing magic full-time for several years, with it having been his number-one interest since the age of eight. More first got himself noticed on the world magic scene when he won first prize in the national finals at The Magic Circle, for their 'Youth Initiative Stage Competition'. Some years later, following a number of awards in magical entertainment and celebrity bookings, James moved to London and struck a deal with the world's leading cruise ship entertainment agency.
The opportunity arose for More to perform to 4,000 people a night on the world's most prestigious liners. He travelled the globe with his show working for major companies such as Royal Caribbean International and Crystal Cruises. Continuing this success, More was asked to perform on international television snf appeared in over 60 countries when he went on Europe's premiere variety television show, ''Le plus grand cabaret du monde''.
In 2011, More returned to the UK and appeared on the pilot episode of ITV's primetime entertainment extravaganza ''Penn & Teller: Fool Us'', where he performed in front of Penn & Teller and Jonathan Ross. This episode aired on 7 January 2011. Due to the success of the pilot episode, it was later made into a series.

In 2013, More auditioned in London for the seventh series of ''Britain's Got Talent''. His act involved him first taking a handkerchief and making it fly, before then being laid down on a giant metal spike by his two assistants. After being spun around and lying on the spike for a few seconds, More was then impaled. Initially everyone was horrified and worried if he was still alive, but he quickly got back down and received yeses from all four judges. His audition has over 50 million views, making it one of the most-viewed auditions by any ''BGT'' contestant.
More eventually advanced to the live semi-finals and performed on the fourth live show on 31 May 2013. He was forced to miss his sister's wedding in Australia because of the show. In this act, he was locked inside a cage, with a limited time before a series of flaming spikes were dropped on him. More again received positive feedback from the judges, with David Walliams saying "We need a magician in the final". Simon Cowell also said that More was "probably the best magician ever on ''Britain's Got Talent''". Despite these comments, More just missed out on the top three, finishing fourth in the semi-final with 14.3% of the vote and falling behind Alex Keirl and eventual finalists Francine Lewis and Asanda.
Following illusionist James More's success on Britain's Got Talent in May, Diversity (previous BGT winners) have announced that James will be their Special Guest Star on their next arena tour which starts at the O2 Arena, Dublin in November and finishes at the O2 Arena, London on 16 December. This is the first time that a British illusionist has been featured in an arena tour on this scale. James is currently having some new illusions custom built in Las Vegas and promises they'll be extra special! "I told my manager six months ago that one of my ambitions was to work with Diversity and now it's happening! We're going to be the perfect fit and you'll see my magic presented in a new and refreshing way, both on my own and with Diversity."
And there's more... James' next big announcement is that he will also be one of the stars of the brand new "Illusionists 2.0" which opens in the Adelaide Festival Theatre, Australia, on 27 December and the Sydney Opera House on 9 January, prior to a world tour. James is the first large-scale stage illusionist from the UK to star in this, the world's largest touring magic show.
